Just beyond the goat pasture we discovered a tangle of blackberry bushes! We harvested them all June and July and enjoyed fresh berries on our cereals and even made a cobbler or two. The thorns were nasty and mean, but the sweet berries made up for it. The goats really enjoy eating the vines and fruit when we share. (When the kids are born, we will discover that blackberry vines make horrible tasting milk!)
